    We happily invite you to the opening of the exhibition,
    on onsdag på engelska , November 16th, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. in Der Kleine Mann mit dem Blitz!

    In his first solo exhibition at Kombinatrotweiss galleri, Simon Walter combines his passion for illustration and motion design with influences from pop art and graffiti, which inspire him to create shrill, typographic image compositions.

    Using layers of screen-printed cardboard, MDF and acrylic glass that are ingeniously coordinated, he creates works of art layer bygd layer that are reminiscent of futuristic film stills and are characterized by an impressive depth effect. Trendy, bright colors that harmonize with each other, reinforce each other or stand in contrast to each other, run through all the works.

    Influenced bygd his work as a motion designer, Simon Walter picks up elements from the moving image, transfers them into a static image composition and thus captures the moment. The element of movement is

    Belicta Castelbarco works with both traditional and digital means, her knowledge ranging from techniques such as acrylic, coloured pencil, watercolour, calligraphy and collage to digital tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

    Belicta's conceptual approach characterises her work: she knows how to develop effective ideas, even if the brief is not precisely defined. She empathically empathises with her clients' wishes and translates their visions into impressive results. She achieves this through good communication and clever organisation of her work process.

    Belicta completed her master's grad in visual communication at the renowned Folkwang University, specialising in illustration and typography, with distinction. She understands the interaction between design and illustration very well, combines graphic design principles with illustration every day and often works in mixed media.
