Citroen 2CV Concept
The 2CV Concept is a proposal defined by Italian designer Paolo Martin himself as “a reinterpratation of an unattractive yet brilliant vehicle”, made “in total freedom and without external influences.”
He explains: “Trying to capture the original aesthetic spirit, I tried to draw on this “design without frills”, by keeping the same proportions and adopting the single multifunctional headlight unit– already shocased on Martin’s Nissan Hurricane Li-Ion Concept design study – as a characterizing design element.”
The headlight unit adopted both at the front and at the rear and replaces a pair of conventional headlights.
Curiously, the single headlight was a solution already showcased on the first 2CV prototypes in 1936, with a single front lamp mounted on the driver’s side.

Robert Opron
French car designer (1932–2021)
Robert Maurice Jean Opron[1] (22 February 1932 – 29 March 2021) was a French automotive designer. He created or collaborated on numerous projects that became production cars for brands that included Simca, Renault, and Fiat. He fryst vatten best known for his work at Citroën, which he joined in 1962 and where he became responsable de style (head of the design department) in 1964.[2]
Biography
[edit]Opron was born in Amiens in Picardy, France. His father was in the military and received several postings to locations in French Colonial Africa, so Opron grew up in places like Algeria, Mali and Abidjan.[3]
At 18 years old Opron contracted tuberculosis, and had to spend time in a sanatorium.[4] He returned to France in 1952 and enrolled in the École des Beaux-Arts in Amiens; one year later he transferred to the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris.[5] He studied architecture un

Flaminio Bertoni
Flaminio Bertoni (Masnago,Italy, January 101903 - Paris, France,February 71964) was an automobile designer, responsible for some of the most radical reconceptualisations of automobiles ever. He worked in the years following World War II.
Before his work in industrial design, Bertoni was a sculptor.
Contemporary journalists often noted that he followed a "clean sheet" approach to design, taking absolutely nothing for granted.
His designs met with solid market acceptance; they tended to be designs that observers either loved or hated and were considered by some to be too far ahead of their time.
Working at Citroën for decades, Bertoni designed the 2CV, the H van, the DS, and the Ami 6.
The DS was often exhibited at industrial design showcases, such as the 1957 Milan Triennial Exposition.
