Riley Keough has announced the October 15, publication of Lisa Marie Presley's memoirs. She posted: 'I'm honored to help put my mother's book out for her. Her autobiography will be out in October'. The memoir of Lisa Marie Presley, the singer-songwriter daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley who died one year ago, will be published by Random House.
Described by the publisher as a 'raw, riveting, one-of-a-kind memoir [that] will lift the veil on one of America's most storied families', the still-untitled book will be published on October 15 along with an audiobook edition read by Riley and including what Random House says are 'never-before-heard recollections in Lisa Marie's own voice.

Lisa Marie Presley (February 1, – January 12, ) was an American singer and songwriter. She was the only child of singer and actor Elvis Presley and actress Priscilla Presley, as well as the sole heir to her father's estate after her grandfather and great-grandmother died. Her musical career consisted of three studio albums: To Whom It May Concern (), Now What () and Storm & Grace (), with To Whom It May Concern being certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. Presley also released non-album singles, including duets with her father using archival recordings.

Lisa Marie Presley’s posthumous memoir, From Here to the Great Unknown, is now on shelves. Presley had been working on her memoir before her sudden death over a year ago, prompting her daughter Riley Keough to finish it for her. “I’m so excited to share my mom now, at her most vulnerable and most honest,” Keough, 35, said in a January statement announcing the project.

According to excerpts shared with People magazine, the book details Presley’s struggle with substance abuse, her experiences with motherhood, and memories of her father, Elvis Presley. In the book, Lisa Marie wrote: “I was always worried about my dad dying. Sometimes I’d see him and he was out of it. Sometimes I would find him passed out. I wrote a poem with the line, ‘I hope my daddy doesn’t die.’”
