    Devon Edward Sawa (born September 7, 1978) is a Canadian actor. He began acting when he was a teenager and appeared in several films in the 1990s including Little Giants, Casper, Now and Then, Wild America, Idle Hands, and Final Destination. He also portrayed the title character of the Eminem music film "Stan" and starred as Owen Elliot in The CW action spy drama series Nikita. In addition, he has played several roles in the USA Network & Syfy horror series Chucky.

    Sawa was born on September 7, 1978,[1] in Vancouver, the son of Joyce and Edward Sawa, a mechanic. He has two older siblings. His father was Polish, and his mother is "a little bit of fucking everything".[2]

    Devon Edward Sawa was born on Sept. 7. 1978 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Sawa's interest in and professional pursuit of acting seemed to have begun as early as kindergarten, when he first began performing in school productions. By the dawn of his teen years, Sawa was booking jobs in toy commercials, and soon after in television shows and feature films. Early appearances included series like "Unsub" (NBC 1989) and "The Odyssey" (CBC 1992-94). He made the move to the big screen with the popular family sports film "Little Giants" (1994) and the fantasy spelfilm "Casper" (1995), in which he played the bodily incarnation of the titular animated ghost. As Sawa aged, so did his material mature; he next appeared in the romantic comedy "Now and Then" (1995) and the crime drama "The Boys Club" (1996).
