Pahayag ni dating Gov. Esmael ‘Toto’ Mangudadatu, ngayo’y isang peace advocate sa BARMM, ang pagbasura ng CA sa pagtalaga kay Teng bilang colonel reservist sa Armed Forces of the Philippines ay makatuwiran.
Tinukoy ni Toto, 3rd degree cousin ni Teng, ang mga pagkakataon sa track record ng umano’y mga pang-aabuso ng kanyang pinsan.
“Ang daming reservist na nandito sa amin na nagagamit ni Teng. Libo ang reservist nila. Pinadadala ng mga baril, akala ng mga tao sundalo lahat, zero IB pala ang mga yun,” pagsisiwalat ni Toto, na dati ring Maguindanao governor.
